Gather and Grow Display

Hello everyone,

I hope your summer had a great start and you are able to meet up with friends and family finally. Our members have been busy at the Richmond Village Art Club during the lock down but we do see light at the end of the tunnel to showcase our beautiful art works.

We are hoping that we will be able to do a show in the Fall, more information to follow soon.

Several of our members have art work displayed at the Gather and Grow Richmond. The store is located on Perth Street and adults of 18 years and older can view the art work which is displayed on the walls of the store during the store hours.

We have a few members of the RVAC, who participate on Sundays at the Richmond Village Farmers Market at the Twin Elm Rugby Park from 9am to 2pm. Sundays until October. Please, check the RVFM site for a list of weekly vendors. Support local!

WE hope you are able to check out our displays of artwork, plus we will let you know as soon as possible about our show in the Fall.

On the behalf of the RVAC members,

Have a great summer and thank you for continued support.

It’s Summer!

It’s summer and I can’t wait to get out and move around! I have been working on new work and working behind the scenes on a few projects.

I have finally had a chance to work on my website and I have added a new page called ” Other Art Projects”. On this page I will be show casing my other art interest like designing my tote bags with my art work, cards, painted shoes and resin designs. It has been fun working on these projects and I plan to create more.

I have started painting portraits. This is very challenging for me as I like to draw and it is so different in the thought process and colour placement. I do enjoy it even if at times it is little stressful. The first portrait is called Hannah and it is on the website under Portraits.

I have joined the Richmond Village Farmers Market (Richmond, ON) for 5 different Sundays. The next Sunday I will be at the market is July 11th and 18th. Hope to see you there. Follow my Instagram and Twitter accounts for the up to current dates and times.

I have art work currently displayed at the Gather and Grow in Richmond, ON. I am with sharing wall space with the Richmond Village Art Club and other local artist.

Have a great summer, stay safe and I will keep you up to date about Salena Draws.

Thank you,

Salena

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all safe and well. I have been busy painting and not publishing many of my new work as some of my new work is commission work. So no peeking at this time.

I have been working on a new store front that sells my art work as wearable clothing and home decor products. I am going to try it for a year to see how it is going to work. Hopefully, it will work out great for me.

If you see a piece of art work you would like to see as wearable art then drop me a line at salenadraws@gmail.com.
